founder, mai nguyen, was introduced to her first pen pal from japan in 1999. after studying in communications, she recognized the importance of both traditional and advanced technology in education, creating the miss ways pen pals program in 2015 and the miss ways augmented reality app for her students in 2018. MISS WAYS PEN PALS IS currently SPEARHEADED BY A COMMUNITY OF POSITIVE ROLE MODELS THAT INCLUDE MONTESSORI-CERTIFIED TEACHERS, CARING PARENTS, HOPEFUL STUDENTS AND NEIGHBORS both YOUNG AND elderly.
